Organiser & Advertiser Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to create an organiser or advertiser account and enter into these Terms.

• Organisers and Directory advertisers must create an account to list events, businesses, or make payments.
• Account plans (Free Style, Step Up, Special Event, and Directory advertising) and their current features and pricing are described on our website and may change from time to time.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of any event, business, or other listing you create, including dates, times, venues, and pricing. Details are subject to change — dancers should confirm directly with the organiser before attending.
• You warrant that you own or have permission to use any photo, poster, or other content you upload, and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.
• Content licence: by uploading photos, posters, or other content, you grant DanceEvents a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and use that content across the platform and in related promotional materials (including but not limited to weekly summary posters and homepage features), for as long as your account or listing remains active.
• We do not vet or verify listings before they appear, other than a general review process which may apply from time to time.

• Paid plans and one-off purchases (including Step Up subscriptions, Special Event listings, boosts, and Directory advertising) are billed as described at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current rate until cancelled.
• All payments to DanceEvents, including but not limited to Step Up subscription fees, Special Event listing fees, boosts, and Directory advertising fees, are non-refundable, except where required by law.
• Any discounted or promotional pricing will clearly state the standard price it reverts to and when that occurs.
• If a Step Up payment fails, we will automatically retry the charge and notify you. If payment continues to fail after repeated attempts, your account will be downgraded to Free Style. Downgrading does not delete your account, listings, or historical data — Step Up-exclusive features and data views will become available again if you resubscribe.
• If you cancel your Step Up subscription voluntarily, the same applies — your account moves to Free Style immediately, without the retry/notice process used for failed payments, since no advance warning is needed for a decision you’ve already made. Your data, including analytics collected while on Free Style, is retained and becomes visible again if you resubscribe.

Our general Terms of Service — including moderation and account actions, no endorsement, third-party links, trademarks, our intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, indemnification, copyright infringement reports, ending your account, changes to terms, governing law, force majeure, and severability — apply to organisers and advertisers in full, in addition to this document.
