About

Samba Passion is New Zealand's premier Samba dance entertainment team with a rich history of captivating audiences at prestigious events. We are the only elite group of dancers who perform all over New Zealand, internationally and at the Rio Carnaval in Brazil. We are also the only entertainment team in NZ with two crowned Australasian Samba Queens; Gabriela Guimaraes (2017) and Ana Paula Bojovic (2023). Our production ensemble includes Brazilian dancers, drummers, and Capoeira performers.

Samba Passion

Our Samba School shares a collective passion for samba and the vibrant Brazilian culture, and we are committed to sharing this love with our local community. We offer classes tailored to dancers of all levels, from Beginners to Intermediate and Advanced, as well as specialized sessions for Funk, samba technique, and private lessons. With our professional and internationally recognized samba teachers, you can expect a combination of serious fun and fitness when you join our samba family.
