Alegria Latin Dance is a community-based dance school passionate about sharing the JOY of Latin dance with as many people as possible! With our wonderful instructors guiding the way, we teach weekly Salsa & Bachata classes for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. Our regular Latin dance parties in the city bring our beautiful community together to connect and dance in a welcoming space.

Alegria Latin Dance

This course is a natural progression from the beginner course and is suitable for improver-level dancers. The improver course expands on basic steps and movement, focusing on calm, safe lead and follow skills to ensure our dancers feel connected on the social dance floor.

Alegria Latin Dance

This course is designed for students who have completed the Salsa Improver course and have a sound understanding of Salsa foundations. The aim of this course is to develop confidence in ‘mixing and matching’ various movement patterns to broaden the lead’s repertoire. It also aims to develop the follow’s ability to understand and effortlessly follow signals for a variety of movements rather than ‘knowing’ a set sequence of turn patterns. A new course written every term. $25 casual/drop-in.
